3 of them are already done but it says "The video exceeds the maximum video length." I thought the length can be as long as you want if your account was given the privilege of uploading more than 15 minutes?

Do I have to use a certain program that automatically splices it into 15 minute segments? If so, what windows program could I use?

Thank you.

First of all it's against the rules to upload TV series to youtube. I'm not going to stop you, but you can get shut down for this. I had a channel once where I uploaded TV series. That channel was Frasiervideosjos. When I got taken down I started a website called Frasier-paradise, but I couldn't afford to pay the costs of unlimited bandwith. Sometimes I used 1TB per day. So it will never work uploading TV series. Sorry.

Second of all you can enable the over 15 minutes here: http://www.youtube.com/account_features Most likely you have to link your phone to your account.

I uploaded the series in private mode, which means only I can view it. Is that still against the rules? I guess if it was open to the public then they can easily find out what you are doing and suspend your account, but if it's private there's no one to report you because only you can see it.

I was doing this to give my Hard drive some space without wanting to delete the TV shows permanently.

Even if it's private it will get detected. It's not that people have to flag it before youtube takes it down, but when you upload it youtube compares your video to 1000's of other videos to see if the have a third party match. If they have a match they can choose how to "punish" you. Mostly when it's about TV shows they will strike down your channel. With 3 strikes it means your youtube account will be gone. My advise, buy a larger external HDD, start using netflix :P, but there are no free ways to put your TV series online so you can watch them later.

Hmm, as I am running a little low on money, I guess I have no choice but to create multiple SkyDrive accounts and upload them there. Too bad I can only upload like 3-4 shows per account, but it'll do for now.
