I want to make techy videos for YouTube (not tutorials) but don't know where to start?

Over the years I have acquired a very large array of knowledge to do with computers - from programming to physical components and theory. I want to make videos that express my knowledge in this field that:

a) Would not be tutorial oriented (way too much competition)

b) Would be interesting even to non-techy people.

c) Would be something that people are likely to want to binge watch.

Do you have any ideas on what I could do? As in, what kind of content would you be looking for in this field? I would be very grateful.

Thanks!

I have no clue what kind of video you are trying to make... tech videos, that aren't tutorials, but would interest non-techy people. And you want people to binge watch them... Sounds kind of like you want to do any regular video (vlogs) with amazing editing...

You may need to reword your question or even do an example video. It reads like you know what type of videos you will be doing but then you ask what type of videos you should do. Quite possible that I just suck at reading comprehension though.

Tutorial oriented videos may not be as hard to break into as thing, as long as your tutorials are actually informative and easy to follow. As far as binge-watching goes, your best bet would likely be some sort of course or series (i.e. computer security tutorial series, one video for each topic). Technology is so diverse that getting people to watch lots and lots of videos in one sitting is very difficult.

Sorry I don't have any specific examples or suggestions. Best of luck!
