I really need help with this (Recording guitar and vocals)

Little Recordings

The alter ego of Kristen Is Calm- Kristen is Angry
Okay, so for a long time I been recording on the things I had, which was a single cheep karaoke microphone and incredibly old behringer mixer to pc interface, which is not even an interface, or mixer what ever you want to call it.

So to say, that my recording way was held by spit and hope, would be too generous.

Now I finally saved up money and started to look into recording hardware.....after a few days of reading, I want to go shoot myself, because I will be honest, I can not make a lick of sense...

Now the amount of products, and on top of that, the "if you spend just a little extra you can get something incredibly better" or "just because it costs more, doesn't mean its not s**t" and all those things, and a million and one opinions, is just mind boggling.

I really do not know where to even start, and seeing that there is a lot of people here who record, and do an amazing job, I was wondering if you could help me, with what can I get.

The shop we have is this one:
http://www.4sound.dk/

My budged is 4.000 DKK, which I can stretch, if its needed to reasonable level.

I need to be able to record an acoustic guitar and vocals, so from what I understand I need two microphones, for each of the inputs, as well as an interface to the pc.

Can you please help me or at least point me into the right direction here.

Please..... *puppy eyes*

Amazon, and Google! :D
Mate, I spend the last days doing that, I thought that "well I have a degree in electronics, so I should figure this out", and now I came out, with even more confusion than before and an urge to reenact the final action of Kurt Cobains life. :D

Shure SM58 for Vocals:

and a SM57 for Instrument:

Both are the exact same in Quality, the 57 is just a 58 minus the ball grill, also I'm not sure if they come with XLR cables, XLR cables aren't expensive anyway.
I would kiss you right now if I could, because finally some direction.

Do you know any good interfaces though, that could be used together?

And again, thank you for your time!

Fantastic, I would start reading about them.

But just a quick question, if you do not mind. The microphones, you said the only difference is the lack of ball-ring, is that why one is for instrument and the other one for vocals?

Thank you once again.

Yea, The head on the 57 is specifically designed to produce the pickup pattern, the holes on the head allow sound to enter from the backside of the mic which produce this.

Okay, thank you clearing it out.

But from what I understand on the SM58 you would still want to install a pop filter (I think that is how it is called) if its close?
