I need your advice!

I've Got It
Okay so here is the deal, I have been doing YouTube for 2 years now off and on sometimes a get a good video that gets a lot of views for no reason and other times where I upload and I'm only getting like 30-40. Why is this and do I need to change something about my channel? I have over 300 videos and I feel I've invested to much time into YouTube to only come out with 2250 subscribers. Please give me advice on what I need to change to get my channel more out there.

First of all, your channel is about gaming. There millions of channels out there doing gameplays. Getting recognition can be pretty tough in that niche. Second, GTA Online isn't the big deal anymore. Maybe you should choose another title.

Should I start a second channel? Like a Vlog channel or a channel for my car?
 
It must be something you like to do. If you're doing it for the views/money, you won't get too far. Of course, almost every person who does youtube videos, would like to live off of it, but most importantly, you have to do videos that you enjoy. If you're vlogging because you think that's something that people would watch, you need to consistent, and over months until you get anywhere. So, if gaming is what you enjoys, do gaming. But try to mix in some other games. Do an indie game or try some old school stuff. Don't rely on just one game, and one that already is going out of style.

Thank you for the advice man! That's the problem I feel like i've already gotten so far into this channel I don't really want to start over you know.

No problem! Like I said, don't give up on doing gaming videos, since that is what you like. Also, 2k+ subs isn't that bad. I don't know if you're doing it already, but what helps is to post your stuff into facebook groups. Just search for gaming groups and post your stuff there. That will definitely help you to gain some more views and subs. just my two cents :).

I won't give up just a little discouraging getting little views on some videos, thank you for the advice and I will for sure check out Facebook groups!

Here's some tips for u friend. I would suggest you change up your content a bit or start a new/second channel cause I had this problem on my old channel I only played Minecraft and stopped growing and my channel was kinda stuck and video didn't get views belive me I k what it's like. So in my new channel I started just a couple of days ago where I play Gta 5, goat simulator, Terraria and much more games planned, I'm growing quicker than my old channel that had 700 subs and I'm getting more likes and comments not necessarily more views but that's cause I just started. So my suggestion for is either change up your content and keep pressing and struggling until you start growing rapidly again or start a new/second channel and focus mainly on that.
