I need to change my channel name because of COPPA, but if I do, I will lose my verification mark. What do I do? has anyone got the checkmark recently?

Basically im going through a mental breakdown. I need to change my name because it has the word "kid" on it, and since kids content is sadly treated as radioactive material on Youtube now, I want to change the name.

HOWEVER if I change the name, I will lose the verification badge, which I worked so hard to get, and due the new requirements of whatever "authenticity" means, I predict they will not give me a verification badge after I re-apply after change I the nickname, even if I have near 1,000,000 subs, because im an anonymous animations creator and I don't have social media presence because im shy and i dont like to expose myself.

What do I do? this COPPA bullsh*t is killing me, nothing but problems. Im not from the USA so im not that worried about $42,000 fees but im still worried since they can I guess close my channel if they think my animations are for kids but I refuse to kill my channel immediately by clicking "yes this is for kids". What's the point anyway.

The verification mark isn't that much of a big deal. It's a bit of a vanity thing tbh.

With regards to the name change, I doubt changing the name will do much if your content is indeed aimed at kids.

It's more important than you think. Think about it, it raises the CTR, it's a psychological thing, when people see the badge next to the thumbnail when its recommended, im sure you are more prone to direct your eyes on it than if its a blank space. I dont want to lose it, however, the channel name doesnt help. Its similar to this:
