I need some advice about Freedom! network..

Hey guys! So recently I have been contacted by a network called Freedom! .. They do offer nice things and it's a no lock-in contract so i can leave whenever. I did my research and the youtube reviews that i saw about them were not very positive.

Now I know that usually only bad experiences are posted online as the happy creators have no reason to randomly talk about the network they've joined, either that or cause people like drama and negativity.

Anyway, I have a small channel still (180 subs) and was wondering if it will be useful for me to join one? Will it help grow my channel? Has anyone worked with this network and had a good experience?

Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks <3
 
in my own experience, they dont really grow your channel much and yet still take a cut of your money, not worth it, all you get from it is music... but you dont need to join the network to get the music XD there are websites or youtube for that.

if i remember correctly freedom only give you 60% of your money. in exchange for doing nothing, to be honest, no network is worth it and if you do really want to join one then i would wait til atleast 150k followers + do you can call the shots a bit more.

Most networks really really dont care about anyone under 100k to be honest (most)

but thats just my experience/research and opinion :) x

why do they do that? haha if i make it to 150k on my own I don't think i'll need a network to help me after that :p.

exactly XD that's why they like too reel people in at low subs so that if the channel suddenly takes off then its quite a bit of money in there pocket and they can take all the credit even if it wasnt them ahah :D x Your welcome, honestly its just better to do it alone ^^ or find another youtuber to *partner* with so too speak, so you help eachother out , make your own little network between the two of you or a little group :D Haha

When you're larger there's more potential for a lot of stress with fake claims and whatnot, so a network can offer "some" extra protection and collab opportunities. But until you're relatively massive and in the top 10k of creators on YT, Networks are seriously a waste of time.

Yeah it does make sense to do it alone, or the collab hahah that's always a good idea.. Just wish it wasn't hard :p I guess nothing worthy comes easy.[DOUBLEPOST=1481065554,1481065503][/DOUBLEPOST]

Oh yeah that may be possible. There must be helpful networks out there.. :/
 
I will say it like this; Freedom pays you what ever you've earned each month, where, if you just use adsense they won't pay you until you've made 100USD which is a lot for small channels that only makes a couple of bucks each month.

If you are looking at it black and white, no it's not worth it, but the fact that you get paid each month(if you earn anything of couse) helps me(mentally) a lot to keep going with my channel. :)

Thankss! Yeah that totally makes sense, it will take me quite alota time to get to 100$ haha so i rejected their offer :)
