i do gfx and stuff but all i know how to do is logos and desktop backgrounds, i want to do youtube channel arts but i dont know the measurements, could any one tell me how?

The new banner is 2120x1192. But thats for the new layout.

Yeah with the new layout you will not have to worry about much. So your skills in deigning logos and stuff would work just fine .
