I need help with my channel art :)

Avoid comic sans, drop shadow and make sure your colours coincide (like don't put red on purple etc). If you can, use Photoshop, but Gimp works well (and is free) too. This is just my personal preference, but clean simple images look more professional to me than overly complex ones.

Drop shadows aren't always bad. It depends on how you use them. I used them on the circles dividing the text on my banner to give them a slight 3D effect and also to stand out from the background. If you lower the distance it actually looks pretty classy.

I just think drop shadow and my mind is cast back to those horrible text banners people used to make in Word *flashbacks* :giggle:
