Just a few questions about partnerships.

1. When do you think its time to leave google and partner with another company?
2. Will the other company help promote your channel?

By Company do you mean MCN?

If so things have changed a lot over the years, they aren't really a need to join thing anymore, before the process of being able to monetize and access cool features were only on offer to youtube partners and MCN's and back then it was really hard to get Partnership so thats why everyone went to MCN's.

But now anyone has access to the monetization feature's, it doesnt mean MCN's aren't needed anymore though as they can provide useful things such as In depth panels on your channel, Sponsorship, community and support, but to actually make it worth while you would want to wait until you are fairly big (I would say 50k + subs) as the smaller you are the more of a percentage they will want where as if you are big you are in a position to negotiate terms, a lot of what they have to offer you can get on your own it just required a bit more work than just clicking a button, in terms of growth it depends on the MCN, some help by tweeting or posting everytime you post a video, others dont, most have a community as well where you can go talk with people, kind of like YTT

Another thing you need to keep in mind when joining a MCN is a lot of them have contracts in which you can be tied into them for max ive seen so far is 3 years which is a fairly big commitment to make, so if you do go looking for one research into them a lot and see what they have to offer and make sure its a commitment you want to take.

Even when you partner with another company, you're still with Google.

Google will continue to take out their same percentage no matter what...and, if you joined a network, they would then take their percentage after that.

2. Will the other company help promote your channel?

Unless you're receiving multiple millions of views a month and earning (at least) a few thousand dollars a month, it's simply not worth their time or effort to promote you.

They might offer tools to help you promote yourself, but you will have to all of the work on your own.
