Hey Guys! I'm having troubles with masking myself off from the background! having problems with my hair really. >_<

Do you have access to this room you took the pic in? If so take a pic of the room empty with the same lighting condition or close to as possible. Then in PhotoShop or Gimp (Gimp is free) put the image of the room empty on it's own layer. Put the image with you on top of the previous layer on it's own layer. Use a lasso tool or pen tool and trace around yourself. Then press delete. It should get rid of you and leave the picture of the empty room behind it.

The main problem is that the image is blurry. I could work around this and mask you out of the image onto a separate layer (I take it that is what you want) but the blur will definitely have a negative effect.

If the person has access to retake the photo from the same position without him there and it's in focus then just superimpose him over the new background photo
