I don't understand how people can have gifs.
I can barely fit the 2MB limit every time I make a banner. (2560x1440 PNG)
I have to make the bottom and top of the banner (the ones that isn't visable) white or black or some sort of single color to take up less space.

I can normally get my banner down to around 1MB using compression.

How does one do that?

Save the .png normally on photoshop and then go to https://tinypng.com/ and upload your image, they'll compress it as much as possible without losing any quality it also saves the transparency of the image if there is any.
