Hello,
I left Youtube and came back after months away from the plateform. I am now enjoying making videos, trying to find new ways to mix my life and my creativity.

Did other people went through this? Did you change channel altogether?

Thanks.

I've not left for more than a few months, i recon, and I didn't really change my content either.. Although I think since I started youtube when I was like 16/17 I just gradually grew up and changed what I wanted to do over time, rather than all at once..
I think its cool to re-vamp your channel though, as long as you warn your followers about it haha

Thanks for sharing! Actually I disappeared without warning anyone felt bad about it until I explained myself .

The content is different so I know I am starting from the bottom again.

Also Youtube did not push most of my videos to my subscribers some only notice I am back now...

I started YouTube over holiday breaks during college, but I quickly realized it was too noisy on campus to actually record anything most of the time(and I was too self-conscious) so my last two years I dropped the channel for pretty much the entire year except holiday breaks/spring break. I made a lot of videos during the summer deciding that I was going to practice for after I was done. Each time I started up again I pretty much had to start from scratch on a new game but I learned a lot about how to research my new topics so that was good I guess.

It did result in a lot of inactive subs though. Since graduating I've left for about 4 weeks twice and I was still able to continue where I left off with most people still there.

Very intersting. I was mking videos before I come back but I decided not to show my face and scrapped all of them haha Inactive subs are I guess a problem for active Youtubers too but it is true that when we start over it really shows!

Right now I started over with a new channel. I deleted my old due to my own inactivity and low subscriber count, So I made a new channel with the same name last friday and uploaded my first video on there. I have a feeling this time around it actually gets better because I am not too insecure or to busy for it. It's almost summer vacation and I have plenty of plans to bring to the table.

Yeah I finally restarted my channel and I actually like doing what I am doing now. Nothing wrong with retrying.
