I have a video idea (in a nutshell, Feedback wanted)

Crumble

Crumble the Plant lives in DAS BOOT
So.. Here's a brief idea i've been thinking of.. I'd love some feedback.

I've always wanted to make silent videos, sometimes with a few spoke words here and there, with constant music in the background, about a particular short story.
I have a few in mind so let's roll with my first one:

About a depressed boy who gets beat up by his parents, gets bullied in college, he sits on a wall on his own and watches others do things, every day he goes through this same torment of upset and loneliness.
But one day, a girl sits next to him and asks him something, and he doesn't know how to respond.
He suddenly feels anxious and runs away from the sheer panic, his bruises hurting and aching.

The next day, he's at the same place again, and the girl comes back, smiles and asks if she can sit down and tells him there's nothing to worry about. He says nothing but nods.
Days go by where they just sit there together, on that same wall.

Then at the end it says "You'll always meet that one friend who will always care"

As i said, it's in a nutshell. What do you guys think? [=

I love the idea of the film, not so keen on the subtitle at the end.

*Gets my elbow and scrubs that away*
But really, i could just remove that bit, i think it looks a little tacky. XD I just wasn't sure if a message should be there. :giggle:
Maybe if it just fades and slowly zooms out of them from behind?

How about something like. "If you keep doing things that you like, like minded friends always find you."

A written message is okay, but perhaps something more like 'you're never alone, no matter how lonely you feel' or something?

I think you could change it to be different, then again my idea has a much darker ending, but perhaps a more profound and direct message.
Your surroundings change you.

You seem to have a clear concept in your head, film it, edit it and review it. You'll be able to determine if it's worth putting your stamp on it or not.

I like the idea, but how it translate into a youtube video that really depends on the level of production value you put into it.

I want to work on this 100% and put as much time and effort as possible.
I have it all mapped out in my head and i'm gonna try my best to get it right when filming. :)
