I got a copyright claim. Can i dispute it?

I've Got It
So i just got a copyright claim of the song DJ Slaykos-Windfall (Thefatrat Release)", sound recording administered by: CD Baby

The thing is Thefatrat allows people to use and monetise their songs in videos as shown here:

thefatrat.tumblr.com/post/117929050268/faq-can-i-use-your-music-for-my-video-on-youtube

I also have credited them on my video as shown here:

youtube.com/watch?v=s6qtncyv4lQ

Could I dispute it? If so, what should I write?

I would dispute it with the following myself:

I have permission to use the music as per thefatrat's website:

thefatrat.tumblr.com/post/117929050268/faq-can-i-use-your-music-for-my-video-on-youtube

Credits have also been given.

One small thing I would do is change Tasty Record to Tasty Records in your description as they could be finicky over it. Hopefully they take a tumblr page seriously too.

I avoid using other peoples music these days because of things like this unless I have paid for a proper license.

Thank You. Also it seems that TheFatRat himself is angry at this claim. Here is his twitter: /twitter.com/thisisthefatrat. What do you predict to happen next?

It seems DJ Slaykos has no rights over the release:

I would just wait it out and see what happens over Twitter, the claim is likely to end up removed automatically. This is why I dont like the current system when it comes to claims I am pretty sure you lose monetisation until theyre resolved and dont receive nothing for the downtime.

Erm correct if I'm wrong but all he did was remix a copyrighted song? That certainly gives him zero rights over his remix.

I see. Thank You!

I would say thefatrat will be all over this. He's a good guy and will protect his property. Apparently this Dj Slaykos didn't even change anything, he just stole it and posted it everywhere?

CD baby has removed the song from their site, so I would imagine YouTube will be sorted out shortly.
