I feel like a colossal idiot for posting this but...

How can I change my YouTube username and picture? It seems like the only option I'm given is to change it on Google+ but I want my name and picture to stay the same there while having anonymity on YT.

You can change your picture in the settings menu

The only way to change your username is through Google +

You do have the ability to change your youtube Title.
you can do that here. I added Skenkee | Animator.
Your username as in youtube. com /username cannot be changed.

You can delete your username channel and make a new one with your Google+ , that is the only current way.

Yeah, I changed it on here to my emcee name, which is what I would like for it to be on YouTube moving forward. That sucks if I can't though because the account will primarily be used for my music and all related types of videos. Guess I'll have to make a new YT account?

Just connect it to google +, it doesn`t delete your videos or anything
