So basically after using a clip in my fifa 16 video, (as a celebration i put in the clip of some African team celebrating).So that was completely copyrighted and i agree. but i got a strike from FIFA. like the whole football company. I am not that experienced in this subject but i only have 50 subs and for FIfa to notice me, should i get proud-ish or not?
 
Most certainly bots, for what are the odds that the actual company seeing you making a Fifa video?

I don't think FIFA themselves placed the strike.
YouTube probably automaticly picked up that clip and gave you a strike, and the copyright holder is FIFA.
 
Was this a full strike, or a Content ID claim? Please see the stickies at the head of this forum section to see the difference.
 
The same thing happens to me. One of my covers was flagged before it was even made public!
I think YouTube catches that it is copyrighted material and gives you the strike for the copyright holder.
 
Same thing happened to me with Star Wars and another video involving a cover. I find it funny how YouTube claims they dont get involved when disputing but they will gladly file one if i understand it correctly.
