I Come To You For Guidance.

Well, since you decided to click on this thread, I want to make this as concise and clear as possible so maybe one of you more experienced YouTubers can help me.

1.) I am a music channel. All I post on here is my creations that I do with music. I need to figure out how to craft a niche in YouTube with the limited resources I have. I am learning how to do audio engineering by myself and my mixing/mastering isn't bad in any sense. However, what I've noticed is my videos are lack-luster. I'm trying to figure out how I can accurately combine video with audio to gather enough attention with my songs.

2.) What would be the best way to promote my channel? I got 140 subscribers in the past year by uploading periodically. I just wanna figure out what would be the best ways to reach a wider audience.

Maybe you guys can help me. I don't really know where else to turn.

Well one thing you can do it make music videos for your songs. If you make a well made one, whether it be with live shots from real life or animated in Flash, people will probably watch your videos and even share them around to other people. I know that would make things much more difficult and time consuming, but that's just one idea.

That helps! Thank you.

This is definitely a broad topic to discuss.
I perused your channel and it looks like you have some nice work there, however it does seem like you have room to improve with visual aspects of filmmaking for your videos. I would recommend researching basic cinematography, to understand composition and movement, then possibly more research in video editing so this way, you can start with introducing the lyrics in new ways alongside video if you do intend to make music video, or in general.

I do like what you have been doing so far and excellent work!
