so, I uploaded a video that had a music playing in the background, the system automatically monetize it, but it says the revenue goes to the original artist author, Im fine with that, they can have the revenue. but what is funny, is that I CAN'T monetize videos for myself, but the stupid system monetize my videos for other people? what is this?
I wish I can show a screenshot of what it says in the matching ID crap system. But I accidentally sent a dispute, saying this is not a dispute but and agreement, so they can have the revenue of my video. Now the message is not there anymore. Anyways, later I saw that if I agree I don't have to do anything, but it was too late. It said something like, you can use the content but the revenue goes to the claimant, which I repeat, I'm totally fine with that

hahahahah dude if something that is not originally made by u, u can't monetize that, especially music, bcz it's their content!

well, ok, I didn't told the story of why this upset me a little or maybe a lot. For some reason youtube don't let me monetize my videos anymore, asking for proof, license, whatever bullcrap, I don't use copyrighted material in my videos, I have permissions and stuff, sent them all already, still they left my video under review forever, you know that story. by the way it have been already 3 months with this problem, and there is no answer, no help anywhere...

i can say your channel is already under monetization blacklist by Youtube, as you probably frequently upload some third party content in the past. For your problem, either you contact Youtube through email, or joining an MCN would help, but they took some percentage of your revenue.

I agree that this is the likely case. You must've done something in the past that has caused your account to get flagged.

I must have done something in the past... what is this?
I don't use copyrighted material, all my videos are PC Gameplay, with proper licenses write permission whatever... the music too, I have all the licenses to use and monetize. So... this is weird. But what is more sad, is that nobody wants to help you, or nobody can help you. in less words, nobody gives a f*ck. you know, until nothing happen to you everything is fine... ¬¬

Are you trying to monetize directly with YouTube? If so, do you have and AdSense account and all the proper information filled in?

Now it make sense, Youtube treat video games gameplay as third party content, although the gameplay did not claimed by the developers. When you start to upload tons of gameplay, you will started get that proof commercial right notice. This is why gamers are all joining MCN, who the hell wanted to let the network take a portion of our revenue since its all our effort, but we have no choice.

Indeed, I realize this months ago.

From what I understand, you can't monetize gameplay videos because those technically aren't your content. That's why you have to be partnered with someone like machinima for example. They pay the gaming company's to allow you to make money from their games.
