Loving YTtalk
Please take a look and let me know what you think. I am trying to go for distortion as a genre. My main inspiration is serial experiments lain along side of other youtubers that I admire. I am also using this channel to experiment with editing skills but as you might be able to tell I have only got budget equipment. Now some of the stuff is supposed to be messy and may not be appealing so sorry in advance. This is just an experiment.

I am using my mobile phone for sound and videos. I used sheets a lot for back grounds. I use a $10 halogen light and a $5 car window heat screen. I also have 3 tripods with a phone mount and a selfie stick.

Because this is an experimental page I would love some constructive criticism. Warning some of my things have been a little flashy.

The Channel itself

Edit; Since no one has responded I've edited this thread to be about the entire channel

You seem to be gathering a lot of inspiration from poppy. But while she actually has a lot of production quality behind her videos, you...ehhm. I understand that you can't do full blown studio quality but there doesn't seem to be an overarching point to any of your videos except for being "distortion" genre. They feel messy, at least for me.
Poppy on the other hand has a really clean style and distorts the reality really subtly so more people can get behind that.

I am getting most my inspiration from an anime called serial experiments Lain. Its about distortion and the transparency between the internet and the real world. A lot of the things I say on that channel recently are direct quotes.[DOUBLEPOST=1487360775,1487360733][/DOUBLEPOST]And some are edited re uploads from before poppy was around.

Idk if it's meant to be freaky or I just scare wayyyy too easily, but it freaked me out (I watched I have a Friend, A few seconds of Just a Thought and I'm Blue, not game enough to watch the others) :p
So yeah if thats the goal, good job! Mission accomplished...

I don't really know much about the Distortion genre so I don't wanna go too far into that, I think the videos were really well made all things considered. I also liked the video effects (like the distortion sound) and the timing of them, I think they were very spot on! I think the only notable thing I could add to this would be maybe invest in a Lav mic or a directional mic, just to get the audio on your voice a little clearer (as I feel like your voice is one of the most important elements of these videos), but you could also use the mic to add more effects (like scratching etc. if needed) and a wider range (to get even creepier noises :p )
Other than that, Good job! Keep it up! (Sorry not very critical)

I was hoping to go for creepy. I can't afford a mic yet but maybe one day.
