How's This For an Idea?

I Love YTtalk
So I'm a huge film geek and my channel relates to this. So far I've done 3-5 minute reviews (called Super Awesome Review:...), Top 5's, and vlogs about movie news that excites me. But I'm a bit wary that upwards of 4 minutes can be a huge demand on someone's time and attention span, so I was thinking of introducing "Ten Second Reviews" where I have a maximum of bang on ten seconds to give my initial thoughts on a movie I'd just seen. I was thinking of recording these as soon as I come out the screen.

What do you think? Does this sound like a good idea? I was hoping the 'ten second' element of it would draw in viewers because it is no time at all, and I could build up a large selection of these videos very quickly, and if I really liked or disliked a film I could do an extra full-length Super Awesome Review on top of the 10 second one.

I like the idea, however I would make it a little longer than 10 seconds. probably like 40 seconds... maybe even a minute.

I think its a good idea because like you said its short so it appeals to people who don't want to watch longer videos. Although I must say, 10 seconds is an incredibly short time but if you think you can pull it off in 10 seconds then go for it! :)

I think maybe 30 seconds would be a better idea. I know vine shows you can fit a lot into 7 seconds, but 30 seconds would give you a little more time to go slightly in-depth and maybe a fact or too.

Give it a shot, do a pilot video and see what sorta response you get from your viewers and the YTtalk community.

Yeah, I'd go with what everyone else has said and go with something between 30-60 seconds just so you have enough time for everything that needs to be said

I wasn't planning on going into too much depth for the short ones anyway. Literally just like "holy hell that was awesome" and a bit more.
