How you guys made it to 1000 subscribers and 4000 views?

Hey guys! I'm new in here. And i'm wondering how you guys made it to 1000 subscribers and 4000 views? I have already around 600 subscribers but it's pretty difficult to get views and subs. Making videos 2-3 times a week,posting links to facebook and some reddit places (no spamming) but it doesn't give results as i want. Waiting for honest comments,no jokes.
