dont be silly, apple would never allow a ipad to connect with a PC directly. You can try installing dropbox on both your computer and ipad, then move the movie file to dropbox.
Otherwise, it won't let you drag and drop by connecting it via cable?
as far as i know it only works with iTunes, dropbox is a programm that is basicly a cloud service, you can store stuff in there such as text documents, anything really as long you stay inside the storage limit. when you upload it into your dropbox you can download it on any other computer that has dropbox, you only need to allow that machine to have acces to it (i belive thats how it works). its a little like steam really, you have your stuff stored in the cloud and you can take it out whenever you have internet... of course it wont work when you put a word document in dropbox and try to open it on a mac since those are not compatibleI've never tried connecting it and trying to transfer them, can anyone confirm this works? Whats the drop box thing you mention Will?

yes it should be possible, but im not sure if your windows PC will be able to read the video file apple uses. othewise you will have to download a converter or something. Thanks for the information very informative. Okay so if I just shoot a video of me talking on my Ipad I should be able to store it in here and transfer it over to my windows computer?
