How to Rev○mp YouTube

I was a YouTuber terminated for being linked to a deleted channel. As much as that sucks, I have also noticed other things wrong with YouTube, and now I want some change…

1. Not base monetization on subscriber count, but base them on view count, the minimum being 1000 views. I actually don't know how to prevent people from finding easy loopholes, as people can easily subbot/viewbot and such.

2. Not censor gun videos, unless they violate any current gun laws. Same for political videos, regardless of the beliefs shown, and unless they promote hate or violence.

3. Recommend videos not based on random statistics, but by the types of videos watched /the channel the user is currently viewing. Same for the front page.

4. Find some way to fix the automated termination system. As much terminations are legitimate, I've seen people being taken down for stuff not in their behalf.

5. Find a way to prevent users from being mass-flagged.

6. Give a warning for channel termination, and a reason to why the termination happened as well.

7. The people being censored should have communication with those censoring them.

8. If a video doesn't break any rules, allow monetization for it, regardless.

9. Treat all partners equally, don't prefer some creators over others.

That's all for now.

Well thanks for that.
I think if you want some change to Youtube you may have come to wrong place. This is not an official YT forum.

My answers to your questions:

1. Not base monetization on subscriber count, but base them on view count, the minimum being 1000 views. I actually don't know how to prevent people from finding easy loopholes, as people can easily subbot/viewbot and such.
Negative Ghostrider. The way it is now weeds out any channels that re-uploads content. The ones that are out there will be more careful not to get caught, and eventually they will. No one can start a new channel and instantly monetize. Buying Subs and Views is an option, but again. If caught (and you will get caught) you loose everything. Now only true creators will stick with it and create content.

2. Not censor gun videos, unless they violate any current gun laws. Same for political videos, regardless of the beliefs shown, and unless they promote hate or violence.
They do not censor gun videos at all. Source: I watch Demolition Ranch and he is still up and running. Political videos should not be on the platform. They are polarizing and bring nothing but negativity. An advertiser would not want ads shown on a political video or any video that pisses off half (or more) of the country / world.

3. Recommend videos not based on random statistics, but by the types of videos watched /the channel the user is currently viewing. Same for the front page.
What are you on about? I get recommendations based on what I watch. Without fail. There is nothing wrong with the way the system operates right now.

4. Find some way to fix the automated termination system. As much terminations are legitimate, I've seen people being taken down for stuff not in their behalf.
I really doubt they automatically terminate someone without a human verifying everything.

5. Find a way to prevent users from being mass-flagged.
Trolls exist, and trolls will do anything to grief channel owners. This will not stop. As such they will always be able to mass dislike and mass flag channels. YouTube will probably notice a false flag, and ignore it.

6. Give a warning for channel termination, and a reason to why the termination happened as well.
There already is a warning system in place. You are getting strikes before you get terminated.

7. The people being censored should have communication with those censoring them.
There is no censorship. And even if there is: Stop creating content that half the world (if not more depending on the subject) hates you for.

8. If a video doesn't break any rules, allow monetization for it, regardless.
This goes back to my answer on #2.
9. Treat all partners equally, don't prefer some creators over others.
Negative Ghostrider. I would not push some silly 5,000 subscriber YouTuber to the front page if my 1,000,000 subscriber YouTuber pulls in way more views. YouTube is a business, and as such they are going to take better care of their high tier content creators than their lower tier content creators. Lower tiers cost them money, so it makes no sense to elevate those channels.

It seems you are angry at YouTube for what they have done to you. In fact you should look at yourself, accept the fact YouTube is a business and work with that mindset. They will not change, and certainly will not cater to smaller YouTubers EVER. It is a dose of reality you better get used to right away.

I do think a lot of things that Youtube does may not make sense on the surface, or maybe they do. Some things may in fact be dumb and whatnot, but as said before, youtube is a business and like all businesses want to maximize revenue and such don't want to comprise too much on money, if at all.
