How to put 'Vanity URL' for your channel

Whats up guys!

If you dont know what a vanity url is, well basically its a redirecting link to your channel,for example:
CharlieMcDonnell's original channel url is http://youtube.com/charlieissocoollike ,but his vanity url is http://youtube.com/charlie...(this is only for partners), Can anyone tell me how to do this? Thank you!

Well, i've wanted a vanity url for a long while, yeah i know what it is. I want to replace my channel url from youtube.com/itsgrantcasual to youtube.com/casual or better off youtube.com/grant . So in order to do this i know you must OWN the other url you want to be able to change it to that url, and the original url will still work! You have to contact youtube with an email of some sort, but i am unsure on that part but i know that you must own the vanity url that you want to change it to.

You have to ask your network to get one most networks will say yes but if your Partnered with YouTube then contact your manager
