I've Got It
hey guys i am wondering how can i put a background for example and background of a gameplay instead of the black bars on a video like to prevent the black bars. For example, i am playing boom beach and put boom beach customise background please help thanks :)

You have explained this kind 0f poorly. Where did the black bars come from? What editor are you using? Because if you just have audio commentary, you should just be able to drag and drop the gameplay and the audio on top of that and you are done.

Give us the specs of your editor and try explaining it again. I found it kind of hard to follow :)

i use iMovie to edit my videos and i record from reflector app. The black bars are the ones in the side

That's the size of the screen dude. There isn't much you can do about that except maybe trying to resize the clip so its bigger. Either that or do what game grumps do, put a background behind it.

For example: in IMovie there should be an option to key out a color (chroma or colour key), select the black bars when you have that and then place the background below that. Boom, you have a background there instead of the black bars.

Otherwise, you may have to mask it out, but I don't think you can do that in IMovie. You may have to upgrade your editor.

You can put a picture to overlay the black bars, this is what hurderofbuffalo actually does. But this does all depends on your editing program so I am not sure as to whether iMovie can do it.

I usually just make a custom picture that fits perfectly over the video. Basically, background where the black bars is, and the middle (where the video is) is transparent.
