How to put a rendered picture in AAE?

So, I want to put my logo in after effects video. My logo is circle, so even if I do render it, and try to put it into AAE project, it comes with white background around it. How do I get rid of that?

You need to make the image transparent in photoshop (or whatever you use) in order to make the background not show.

Yeh as Frankie said, when editing the image remove the white background, and then make sure to save it as .PNG, as this will allow a transparent background

You can make your image transparent online also if you want in case you dont have photoshop.

When you click "New" to make a new project. In the project settings make it so the background is set to transparent. Alpha Channels dude!

If yo don't have the original logo psd then bring the rendered one into photoshop and right click the rubber tool, select magic eraser and click on the background. Then....make sure you save as a PNG!
