How to NOT be affected by the YouTube ad crisis

If you're reading this, you are most likely small YouTuber. Trying to grow is hard obviously, and every penny you earn on YouTube, you can use it to help your channel grow (Advertisements, equipment, hiring actors for your 100% real pranks)

So when your 100% family friendly video, that has no sexual content, violence, and even no swearing gets limited or no ads, you're probably like WTF!?

Me being a YouTuber that has NO videos over 1000 views, can't get a repeal for this situation, and you may not either, so I had to think of a way to have my videos not get demonetized. So instead of bleeping out all my swears, and playing roblox for the rest of my days I thought of a plan.

When you are tagging your video, put in 3 tags such as "ad friendly" "kid friendly " and "family friendly" it will make YouTube's algorithm believe your video is kid friendly. But make sure your title and description doesn't contain anything controversial like swears, rape, or war, YouTube will put the fattest no ads on your video : )

Hope this helped. If you're gonna make a video on this, get me creds!

But.. I'm neither kid friendly nor family friendly, nor market myself as such, so putting false tags puts me at risk of my channel being terminated for false tags, like a lot of other channels were shut down for.. xD

Trust me, 90% of small channels are putting pewdiepie and jake paul in the tags and nothing is happening lol. Mine is kinda kid friendly, just a lot of messed up things, and constant swears

Temporary fix but once the algorithm learns and they are tightening the screws on swearing you're gonna be in trouble again... Just comply somewhat with the rules and appeal if possible.

I also had my channel hit 80 videos were demonetized. I contacted YouTube, we figured it out and now all my videos are green... The odd case that a video still gets yellow I appeal and more often than not they reinstate my ads.

The rules are not really as demonic as everyone makes them out to be... I agree the beginning was brutal and they could have done a way better job with the algorithm before releasing it but they are really not that bad and if that's what needs to happen for everyone to receive a decent CPM then I'm 100% with it.

Are you sure that tags "ad friendly" "kid friendly " "family friendly" works to get better ad chances? I will add them to my list.

No, not 100% - but!
My most recent demonetized video was uploaded on YouTube on August 17th, and was demonetized about 4 or 5 days later. The first time trying this, I put those tags on a video that was uploaded August 20, and no demonetization has occurred. I went on vacation, then came back then uploaded two more videos, and has yet to be demonetized, I hope I'm not jynxing myself, but nothing has happened yet. But I will let you know if they lose ads. Its no risk so that's why I decided to share it, unless if you consider using 15 characters of tags lol. :)

Edit- Let me know what happens, I hope it helps!

UPDATE : Two of my most recent videos are demonetized. 1 video had the word "r*pe" in the description, not to be taken out of context, the sentence was "we r*ped the enemy team" nothing obscene. And the other video had "war" again, the sentence was "my friend, and the enemy had a message war" so I would watch out what words you put in your description! : )

Weirdly, considering I swear in plenty of my vids, not experienced any such issues. Am always careful not to swear in the tags, title or desc mind lol!
