How to market effectively a music channel?

As you may know, I have a music channel where I rap.. Now, I've read a lot about "marketing your channel"... But how do we do that?

spread your music to as much channels as possible, I am doing multiple jobs for the ost of indie games, in which, I will send to indie impressions and let nick know that I am the musician.
also, I ask people for shout-outs if they want music custom made for them.

If you want to grow your sub base and view counts I would look for people who have similar channels as you and comment on their videos. Get as involved as you can. Try posting your vids as vid responses to more popular videos on youtube. And most importantly make interesting and unique content. Hope I helped!

Yeaah but how can I do this? :/ I know absolutely nothing about that
