Anyways so one of the most important aspects of being a youtuber is making videos that people want to watch, about things that are relevant. Now there are people who just upload cat videos and stuff like that but if you are thinking "Oh I should do a tutorial on ______" or are thinking about doing a video but are not sure it will get views. For you people, and just every youtuber in general, this tool will change everything.
The tool is called the Google AdWords Keyword Tool. Some of you may have discovered it, most of you probably haven't. What it allows you to do is search a word or phrase, narrow it by website and category and it will tell you local and global monthly searches along with the competition level for clicks and give you hundreds of suggestions for similar keywords.
Now this is useful because you can search what you are making a video about and if it has lots of global monthly searches with low competition then you can expect to get more views, but if you search it and it has maybe 100 global monthly searches or a few thousand with high competition you probably won't get lots of views.
You can also use this for tagging your videos. Just simply search the keywords and look at the suggested ones that have tons of hits per month and add them in.
