More interested in tips but also would be interesting to know which program, color, effects, letters size and font use other youtubers and which works best
Okay with programs, I know many use Photoshop, but it can be costly. I don't know much about the free options.
Tips:
- Bold Font: By this I mean, choose fonts that are kind of thick in appearance. Nothing to thin or viewers might not be able to see it.
- Colors: Bright colors can be very helpful as they catch the eye when looking at the thumbnails.
- Letter Size: There is no specific answer for this as sight varies.
- Picture Size: To keep the thumbnail of high quality, make sure that it is either 1280x720 or 1920x1080.
- Border: You can add a border of color to make the video stand out a bit more if you wish.
This is pretty much all the advice I have. If you have any other questions, just ask!
You should always make your thumbnail as Simple as it is and also able to describe the content of your video.
Good example; Vannoss Gaming, Matt Steffanina, Just kidding News)
These are simple but yet put straight out to let you know what is your video going to be about.
If your thumbnail is all jumble up, it is hard for one to be attracted.
