How to know what type of channel/videos you have?

I was wondering how you decide what type of channel your videos fit in?
I realize for gaming, you would obviously fit under the gaming category. This is aimed more towards the comedy, entertainment, and vlog sections. What defines your channel as each of these?

Comedy usually is a sketch, a funny clip, stand up comedy. Something that makes you laugh or giggle or smile a bit.
Entertainment usually includes news about celebrities, you doing some kind of tricks or shows e.g with skate board or magic trick.
A vlog is you just talking to the audience and documenting your life.

I think if you don't do comedy or something I think entertainment is a good category for people to fall back on as it is such an open category in my opinion ha ha But I think most videos just fit into a specific category. I think to distinguish between the three you mentioned vlog is just someones face with them talking about their day. comedy is a skit or stand up comedy and if it made you laugh when you watched it I'd count that as comedy as well . Entertainment I'd say is something that could be a story line or an animation (if it's not humorous) or something to just watch such. Any way ha ha that's just how I view it I'm no professional in categorizing ;P <3
