How to get your audience to engage more?

I've Got It
I really want ym audience to engage with me more, I encourage it in most videos but I still can't quite get them too! I usually respond to comments etc.

I have just over 80 subscribers and roughly 50 - 60 average views per videos (although this does differ a lot per video)

What tips have you got to get a more engaging audience?
 
You know how in like NigaHiga's videos or Kevjumba's videos you see them asking the audiance something? do that! Think of something to ask the audiance, they won't just get involved, you need to motivate them, youtube is not a competitive website, it's a community, let them know that and ask them questions! Tell them to comment how they feel about whatever you're talking about in the comment box!
 
Like I said, I encourage it in most videos, and if the video calls for it I'll ask people for their opinions on the subject, but they just don't! So I feel a bit foolish.

Well at the moment you do only have 80 subscribers (I'm one to talk I only have 50 :'D) And your content is good, but untill you get to maybe 200ish subscribers you won't get as many people wanting to cosplay, your content is very good (I just watched your most recent video) But you need to be patiant if you want to involve the rest of youtube as much as possible! and it may seem silly, but keep doing it! It'll work eventually

You're welcome~ and thank you! Good to see another English person on youtube! Hardly find any... I tried vlogging, but I can't just talk to the camera like that :'D anyway yeah it's frustrating how all the youtubers get so many people involved so easily, all you can do now is use them for inspiration! and if you tried to contact them i'm sure they would advise you! Remember youtube is a friendly community ^^
