How to get rid of background noise?

I have an Archeer mic, I don't know what the model is. But everytime I want to record my voice for a big project I wanna do, it picks up a whole lot of static noise. I know there's a way to fix, I tried with a program called Voicemeter Banana, but I followed some tutorials and there's clearly something wrong.

I need either more help on Voicemeter Banana or another method. If you can help, thank you.

Moved to the recording / editing / production / software / hardware forum. :)

Do a search either here, on google or on YouTube for "Audacity removing background noise"

Audacity is a free recording and editing software that you can use. All you have to do is highlight the part of your recording with no talking or noises then use the noise removal in effects, then press like get noise profile or something then it should detect what the noise is then highlight your whole sound and do noise removal
