How to get around a brain fart?

I Love YTtalk
I've just gotten back into doing YouTube again, and have put out 2 new videos so far. I have a list of ideas, but am not sure how to go about them. I've missed a week of doing a video and am about to miss yet ANOTHER WEEK. I tried recording today, hated it, scrapped it.

What is the best way to get around something like this? For example: Do you have certain videos for certain days that are go-to's just in case, like a series almost?

What do you do?
My brain is farting. It smells.

I have extra footage of video. When out of ideas i might compile a mix of things i recorded and turn that into something. For example my kids been making some cool things out of legos and ive been make quick recordings of each piece. Too short to use on their own. I have about four pieces now so im going to make a mix tape of it and have a show and tell type video for the four lego pieces.

Im always recording so i have a lot of half recorded stuff. Sometimes i decide ill finish one video and record more for it later. So for me the key is to always be doing something.

I think that any idea, no matter how insane it is could work, if executed properly. However, the dumber / weirder it gets, the more difficult this is. But if you really don't want any of these ideas, made into videos, I suppose you should wait... or you can pick the best of these ideas and try to make it into something good.

I would say to make the idea that seems most feasible, even if the result isn't as perfect as you'd like it to be. The only way we learn and get better is to keep doing it, and making things that don't meet our expectations is a good way to figure out how to make things that will live up to our standards.

Sometimes you just have to go with it.
Your biggest critic will be yourself.
Things you hate in your videos others wont notice.

Film it - edit it and put it out there. Keep doing this and weekly wont seem impossible.

Some of the weirdest videos or the ones with the least polish can sometimes be your best.

Fabreeze.

Clears all odours apparently.

Do you plan your vids or improvise?
I would say on a day you feel happy and energetic as can be, record a video completely improvised and take the best bits from there. You may then be able to branch off to other ideas from that and it will get you back into the game of recording as well which will help keep you motivated.

if you are feeling down or just cant be bothered then it will have a big impact on your motivation and your feelings towards your own work.[DOUBLEPOST=1459519038,1459518889][/DOUBLEPOST]you could also boost your brain by doing a crazy super fast improv video and then watch it back. Obviously dont post it unless its hillarious but I find forcing a crazy moment can boost your energy and be really fun. It also forces your brain to wake up cus you are having to think very quickly

Find something that people do normally and make it weird as mess! Like try a will it shampoo! (where you try random stuff for shampoos). I thought about doing one but with coffee but realized ground coffee does not get out of the hair easily.
