when you open the audio file in sony vegas, just simply cut out the "ummms" and "likes"

U can mute the sound where u want by adding a volume envelope.

I dont know actually But you have to be sure to ALWAYS have something to talk about You can edit the "uummms" out but it will take pretty much time The best you can do is practice your commentary and be sure you always have something to talk about You can make a test recording of you and your commentary And then yu watch it yourself That way you can maybe see what the problems are and try to avoid them

actually, the best way to avoid "umm"s is to script your stuff and know your content well. If you always have a train of thought going, you'll never say umm again!
