How to find people with similar channel and channel size?

I've Got It
I hear people saying they message tons of people with similar channels (gaming, vlogging, comedy, etc.) and similar channel sizes to check out their channel or to do a collaboration. I was wondering how to find a channel that has similar videos as you and similar size. For example, do you search up "Gaming channel with ___ subscribers" or just look on these forums or what? This is probably a stupid question, but I just want to know.

no problem, and if you ever need a vlogging channel with other stuff too with 1k subs, you know where to find me ^_^
 
If you wanna be super savvy, vidstatsx and socialblade I'm pretty sure have a feature that like tracks your view/sub count and ranks them among other Youtubers, so you can look through the list and find Youtubers close to you who do similar videos.
 
You can always put up a thread in the collab forum and state out your requirements (e.g. must be a xxx channel with have xxx subs). I don't know how well a search is going to work to figure out how many subs channels have.

If you really want to know your similar channels then here you go!

Socialblade tpye your name in and then look at similar channels
