How to find free photos you can use :)

Hey i thought this could be helpful for some people who don't know if they're allowed to use google images in their own videos or no (not only on youtube this can apply for your own website too). Technically no you can't if you don't have permission like with any content that doesn't belong to you.

But here is how you find images on google that are royalty free and you can use:
1. go to google images and search what you're looking for,
2. go to the gear box on the top right and click advanced search,


3. scroll down to usage rights,


4. from the drop down menu select which you prefer (i usually pick the last one ''free to use, share or modify, even commercially'') and click advanced search.

Google will display images that are free to use. Hope this helps anyone

Excellent post. Just to add that it is a good idea to keep a link to the page of the website which states that the images are free to use (the license under which the images are distributed). Usually every image sharing site has such license page. Some content creators even add this link in their video description for future references.

Id never noticed this before, I used to use sxc.hu but thats now on another domain and I cant remember it

I wouldn't 100 percent trust that. I searched free to use commercially and found images from getty images which you need to license
