i want to start a series for pokemon but i want to do it with cool arts. you ever seen those videos by the big pokemon youtubers that do a video and that have the art on the side with their pokemon in their party with their nicknames and which badges they got or what their stats are. i would like to do that for my pokemon so the viewers know which kind of pokemon i got with me. how do i do this? i know about recording the video and such but how do i edit this so i can have that art and edit the art after, like how do i place it in the video

I haven's watched anyone ever record pokemon, so when you say the graphics stuff I've never seen it, but I image it would be pretty cool! So I say go for it!

Well first you have to decided what game you want to play, XY, BW, on a emulator. If your chose to play XY you have to get a pricy capture card, but one person did it with a camera and some tricky set up.

Though to answer your question about editing, open Photoshop or GIMP and create a little card thing like a outro(in 1080p), make one square for the main screen, and one for the bottom if you want. Any extra space can be used to add pokemon, and or badges. Then use PiP (Picture in Picture) and scale the seperate recordings until their boxes.

Atleast thats how I think its done.

i dont get what you want, but i think you want to use adobe premiere to edit inwhat you need. picture in picture to show yourself.. and to record gameplay of a hand console is a bit hard unless you got a DVR ( which are pricey) i see you want to add things on your video and there you might want to photoshop the object of choice on a white background.. while in video software you take away the background, and place the picture where you want it on your video :)

The graphics you see are refereed to as 'layouts' or 'sidebars' They easy to edit in as they are pretty much overlays
