How to do a youtube giveaway?

I was hoping to do something like this for when I reach 50 or 100 subscribers, but I have no idea how I would do this?

Also what did you guys do as a thank you when you reach a certain milestone&

Don't do a giveaway yet m8.... wait until you get more active subs. Otherwise some random s**t people will come to enter and sub just to win!
 
A similar structure to this could be used:

YOUTUBE PRIZE!!!

How to enter:

Step 1 - Subscribe to my channel: [enter channel url here]

Step 2 - Give this video a thumbs up!

Step 3 - Leave a comment below telling me ___________ (insert something relevant to your channel)


You can then choose your favourite comment to win, and also gain subs and video likes!
 
Hmm i would check all you subs because if you do a giveaway telling sub to enter then people will just enter for giveaway and you will have many inactive subs.
Btw i would do it as comment the video and then if the person wins i would pm them asking for email or address depending on what the item is e.g gift cards can be done your yt private message but tangable items need a address

It's not a method that is set in stone, and it's kind of risky. Assuming you have a Facebook Page (as you should), have them share the video on Facebook/Twitter and tag you (to let you know who did). Then pick a winner randomly. Reason I suggest this is because it'll potentially get you a ton of views. I mean, if just one subscriber has 500+ FB friends, and 1000+ Followers on Twitter, then there is a chance that you'll have that many views. See the logic behind it? HOWEVER, with that being said, I'd wait till you get an actual fanbase. You can do something simple, like have them leave a comment, or something,
 
Alright thanks for the awesome ideas guys, I'll take your advice on board & maybe do a small giveaway & if I reach a higher subscriber count in the future I'll do what SiegeTv suggested,
