How to Dispute?

So one of my popular videos (59k views) has been disabled for monetization out of nowhere. I never received an email asking for more proof or anything of the like.

All content was generated by my, because it's a tutorial and I just recorded how to go through the process. Anyways, all I want to know is how to dispute it...or can you dispute it?

I'm pretty sure you can dispute that, but I'm afraid my only 'experience' is from reading a book about YouTube written years ago :( Good luck with your problem though! :)

But this is just disabling monetisation, not a copyright id match. I don't see a method of disputing.

iTwe4kz, do you know who or which company might have disabled it and why?

YouTube retains the right to, at any time, disable monetization on any video and they give no option to appeal or provide more information when they do it. So there is nothing you can do, as much as it hurts to say that.

Try emailing copyright@youtube.com that's all I can think of if they didn't notify you.

(There is also a chance that this is part of the recent monetization issues, I've heard someone say something that sounded like the same thing happened to them, but it's always hard to filter out what's really going on cause a lot of people couldn't describe their most basic problems if their life depended on it...)

I've disputed a video or two in my day where YouTube wrongly claimed copyright content on videos that I made entirely on my own. In my experience it's been a completely lost cause.
