How to Commentate RTS Games?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I need to know how to commentate on real-time strategy games. I know from experience that when it comes to RTS games, I don't really know what to talk about. I try giving tips to the audience at times, but I would usually end up being not as entertaining. What do you guys recommend I do? And please don't give me an answer like: "Play a different type of game." I really want to record RTS games so badly right now, I just need an idea of commentating. You could explain to the audience how you're going to go about setting things up, what your plan is for domination, talk about the battles, your ideal play style for that game, your history with RTS... I'll post more if I think of anything

It's hard to do live commentary if you play online .
I mean , you have to have high APM and all that kind of stuff .
Well , you could explain what are you doing and what are you going to do and why .
That's everything you can do .

Definitely explain what you're doing and why you're doing it, as has been suggested. There are times I was watching strategy games without commentary and I couldn't figure out what they were doing and why it was working

Apart from that, maybe give details about the game itself, and I can't really think of much else. Usually with commentary a lot of it is just saying what comes to mind, you can always edit it out if it doesn't make sense.
