how to ask permission?

I was wondering how do you go about to ask companies to use their music, or products in a video.
 
What does it mean we need permission to use their product in a video? I never heard about that one

Copyright ;) You need permission to use other peoples things, even then it doesn't always stop you from getting a copyright strike.

ohhhh like other copyrighted videos and video games and stuff? Like you can't repost a tv show. Even some of those things I've heard it can be counted as commentary somehow.

I always assumed it would be fine if like my branded products were in the background of my video (my Apple laptop, my Samsung TV, my tissues, my food products, my keyboard, my whatevers, etc all can show up unexpectedly so I don't think I would need to censor the brand name)

Actually, if you have a favorite drink, and it's going to be in a video in the background anyway or something, or be seen being drunk. You should contact the company and see if they'd like to sponsor you. Great way to get free stuffs, or in some cases monies.

the crew for GTA and COD videos some people might know them get lots of free stuff like for instance in there videos every time you hear a can open and they say monster energy drink they get paid
