How often should I upload videos?

I've read quite a few of your posts here in this forum and you seem really cool and helpful. So I subscribed to your channel... even though I really don't understand anything about fashion. That's the power of relationship marketing, I guess!

I am starting to upload every 3 days. That gives you enough time to perfect ideas and make them the best they possibly can be :)
 
I agree with the advice here - I'm on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule, and I definitely cannibalize views if I upload an extra video in between. That said, there are plenty of people that upload daily and do just fine - it's really about setting your audience expectations. Some folks can get frustrated if they subbed when you were making weekly stuff and suddenly see a flood of your videos in their dashboard - others will visit YouTube and be concerned if your video isn't up when they expect it to be.

The biggest thing is "be consistent". If you're doing 2-3/week, set specific days, and tell your subs! That way they know when to be on the lookout :-)

I'm not uploading often compare to Vlogers or others because what I do takes much more time, But in my opinion there is always the same mistake:

People think if they'll upload more videos they will become rich and famous on YouTube, Not only that, they think it will happen real fast!
Unfortunately it's not working like that. it is much more complicated.
I'm not saying it's impossible, if you are very lucky (that could happen, who knows) But in my opinion that's the wrong way of thinking, and bad stratgey for sure! at least for start.


I would suggest you to read my "From NOTHING to SOMETHING! Tips & Tricks" thread on the forums, Who knows you may learn a thing or two.

My tip for you: Learn your audience!
Ask your audience what they want to see, What videos of yours they liked most and of course based on this information ask YOURSELF how often do you think will be good for your audience?

First thing to remember: YOUR Audience, they are very important! focus on them even if you're making the videos for yourself, you mustn't take them as the obvious they are YOUR CHANNEL!

The only person who know your audience best, is only the one who create the content for them... That's you my friend, Good Luck! :)
