Hi guys,
I'm new here and I registered for this topic to discuss: How much does ad blocking affect the revenue the creator gets from YouTube at the end of the day? - Considering most of the ads the average creator gets are monetized based on the auction-principle.
To make it short: If many people are blocking ads - which they actually do - doesn't this decrease the number of available ad-slots and therefore increases the value of these slots? So YouTube and the creator are getting more money from a single ad? (At least if advertising is demanded enough.)
How much can this compensate ad blocking? Have you any ideas?
Thanks!
Daniel
