How much do other people make for 1k views? (total not just monetized)

Hello, currently on my channel I make a good amount less than a dollar for each 1000 total views. I feel like this is kinda bad, idk if it's because I have a lot of short videos or that a lot of my viewers have ad block or something. I am partnered with curse (union for gamers) btw. For example last month I got 4.5 million views but my payment will be $2,900.

$2900 is fine imo. Check your demographics. US gives out the huge $$$ when your ads are clicked.

oh that's why right there, I used curse and dislike it. But it's also due to the fact of people using adblock/not all viewers are shown ads but if you're making 2,900 a month I wouldn't worry about it.

Why hate Curse Inc? I am with them, and happy with them

their pretty much full of empty promises and I just personally don't like their support and cpm that they can provide

What promises? They added some features like music and epoxy, cpm is well good for me I guess. I just don't like how dead their community is.

Wouldn't you be making more if you weren't in a MCN sharing revenue split with them? In June I did about 130,000 views and did over $200.

Curse Inc is 90/10 split.

I think what you earn also depends on the ads that get ran in your videos as well. But you don't really get a say in that though.

There's multiple things that can affect CPM on YouTube ;
Viewership location
Demographics (ages 34+ don't pay as well)
Demographics (male pays lower than female)
Average Watch time
Short videos (videos under 1-2 minutes are unlikely to get high-paying trueview advertising, under 30 seconds and they won't show at all)
Devices (Mobile, Tablet, Console & TV is still far behind on the amount of playbacks/ impressions being bought)

Sorry for copy paste but it can be helpful.

As for CPM - MCN can't boost it and can't affect on it. Again, your CPM will be almost the same with every MCN (!)
I guess you better have to check your audience and content rather than blaming MCN.
