How many views/subs do you need before partnering?

I'm just curious of when most people become partners. I'm in no rush to do this, but I would like to know when is the best time to sign up for a partnership view/sub wise is.

I guess what I meant is start making money from yor channel. Haha this shows my ignorance in this area.

If that's your prerogative, I guess you could end up making some money by joining networks that have no prerequisites. I'm sure there are a ton of people on here who you can ask to see what network would be right for you. Just know if that's all you're doing this for, you won't get far. You should join a network that has a strong community, and will make it easier for you to work with other YouTubers.

I think your misunderstanding what I'm asking, which is my fault. I'm in no rush to make any money from YouTube. I'm doing this for fun. I notice that there are people with 3 subscribers that already have ads on their channel. They do not have a lot of traffic going to their channel, so what is the point in signing up for adsense? What I'm asking is when would be a good amount of subscribers to have to start putting ads on your channel. This is out of pure curiosity. People shouln't want to start getting paid from YouTube right away, especially if their just starting. I hope that clarified things. Thanks for responding.

They fear that they'll miss their chance, or a video of theirs will take off, so they want to get ads on their videos as soon as possible, and try to pinch every last penny they can out of it. Which, if that's what you want to do, is fine. Those people you see with only 3 subscribers and have ads, have partnered with networks that have no requirements. It's a pretty common thing to see now'n days. Networks with no lock in contracts, no requirements, and promises of high payouts.
