How Many Views Does It Take To Get A Sub?

Hi Everyone

I was wondering on average how many views roughly does it take for you to get a sub. For me I have a tech / computer channel and I get 1 sub for every 500 views on average.

I guess it all depends on who's watching, whether they enjoyed the content enough to subscribe and how easily you made it for them (using end cards, making sure you mention subscribing in your commentary, etc).

I'm still really new so still working it out but it does seem to depend on multiple factors. I mean I had a video up (my previous channel trailer) that gained about 180 views in about 5 hours. Zero subs. Over the next couple days I got 9 subs off of maybe half that number of views on different videos.

Maybe you just have to say the right black magic rites as you upload your video?

I don't think views has anything to do with it.
It's pretty random who subscribes or not.

Can't really say if there is an average or not. Because if we look at how sporadic subs come in then we should also look at how they leave.
I had a really good week where I gained 11 subscribers but then with the next week I lost 3. So it really is a constant roller coaster in my opinion with it ups and downs.

I dunno about others, but for me it's totally random. My views and sub gains fluctuate greatly, so I can't pinpoint how often I get views or subs. I just gotta get lucky.

I'd like to think I get about 1.5 subs per video haha....

If I take my channels views and split it across my current subs its approx every 144 views I will gain a sub.

I usually get a sub after every 80 views or so but on most days it's very random.
