No more than 10. But it depends on the intro I guess, some are nice and quick, some shouldn't be rushed. Just what feels best, just not more than 8-10 seconds.
Before you make one, do you even need an intro? Ask yourself what the purpose of the intro is before you do it. Does this series of videos need an introduction? Or will is just be lengthening the video and keeping viewers from content (more time for them to switch to another window).
If you are going to make the intro, make sure its quick and simple. Don't make it longer than the average youtubers attention span is at the start of a video, which is around 5 seconds. I would advise keep it as short as possible. Even if its just 3 secs
I used about have one that was about 8 seconds and found that it really dropped the retention of the videos. I would say that the best intro is about 3 seconds long.
It depends on the style of videos you make, vloggers tend to have short and snappy intros, whilst gamers sometimes have around 10 seconds of introduction
Are you talking about an intro of you speaking in it or just showing pics or quick clips? If u r speaking in them then not more than 30 sec. If ur intro just involves showing quick clips and pics then max 7 seconds.
