How long does it take you to reach a thousand views?

I haven't hit a thousand yet, but I have a video at 903 and the views are growing steadily. It has taken about three months so far.

I'll let you know when I get there, haha. Only videos I have had pass 1k views (and I have no idea how, I'm god awful at marketing), were so random and were without me noticing that I only saw it after-the-fact, so I have no idea how long it took. As for my general videos, I'm happy if I can reach into the 20+ views x'D

Weell most my videos do not have that number of views :) This year I posted a trip to Hiroshima and it has almost 3000 now . But otherwise I am faaaar from that :smug:
3k views is awesome.[DOUBLEPOST=1428508096][/DOUBLEPOST]Reaching 1k views is a great milestone in my opinion.

Not all my videos have reach 1k, but the ones that did took 1-3 months. Crazy how the famous youtubers it takes them less than an hour and they get thousands of views

I've learned I can't get to 1,000 views with nearly 500 subscribers UNLESS I'm teaching people something in my video. A lot of my videos are gaming related, but AS SOON as I do an opinion video on a current event, or a tutorial, people flood it.

Let's take a look at my 3 most popular videos and my 3 least popular videos.

Most
1. NEEWER Scissor Arm Mic Stand works with your Blue Snowball! (15k views)
2. Heads on to bodies tutorial | Photoshop and You (6k views)
3. Tekken 7 Location Test IMPRESSIONS {3K views)

Least
1. (A tekken tournament gameplay video) (29 views)
2. {Another tekken tournament gameplay video from the same series) (42 views)
3. Heathstone | #4 Pay to Sleep (49 views)

Big difference here is... You have VERY specific tailored videos for things people are actually going to search for vs. videos I want to make because I'm bored.

Just make good content and plan it out! 1,000 can come when you have the right mindset.
