how long did it take you to feel comfortable in front of the camera?

I've always been comfortable in front of a camera as long as I'm taking videos but I've always been shy when it comes to taking pictures. So starting my Youtube channel was no problem because I definitely have the personality for it.
 
This is something I'm really having a problem with. Several people have been asking if I would use a face cam but it's really awkward
 
Getting comfortable in front of the camera was never a problem for me, as I have a background in acting, so luckily that was one issue I never had to deal with - there were others I had to though!
 
Been doing YouTube 2 months. I enjoy getting in front of the camera but I mess up loads lol if you couldn't cut things out my videos would be an hour long lol

I was kinda always comfortable cause instead of thinking I was talking to a lot of people I thought of it as just talking to the camera or to myself. I don't like tho when my husband watches the video in from of me tho once I post it I rather him watch it away from me so I guess in that kinda way I'm kinda shy? Lol
